He was a boy of nineteen summers

She was one of eighteen.

The chemistry set on a lilac day of love expression.

High on emotion and rising love quotient,

they lived like doves.

An imperfectly perfect match.

Until.....

It was one of those rosaline sunsets

and the sun seemed to set forever.

Detached from her and tore apart,

he asks himself

Am I alive.

What he could have been and what he's going to be

are vastly different.

Destined to lose, he fought his all.

Before....

She said ''Plz lemme go"

And politely asked him his everything.

He wants to tell her, he wants her to know

that she's his life, he can't let her go.

But he'll have to

for it's love.

And now he thinks,

The girl was nice .

The love she brought was a serpents kiss

pink on the periphery and scorching inside.

He knew not how far she took him.

And then,

Pulled herself back.

Detached from the cord,

the foetus is gasping for breadth.

As she watches the drama from a safe distance.

Collecting his fragments, he tries to stand up,

and stumbles yet again.

Can he overcome his addiction.

Its irresistible to resist her thoughts.

Her characteristic fragrance in the air.

The cushioned comfort of college steps.

The bounteousness of unexpected meetings

and the sparks during meetings.

From city streets to campus squares

from long skirts to saccharine chocolates.

from ginger pieces to dark restaurants

from green lawns to printed greens

He's hell haunted every moment.

I wish he breaks

for no one's supposed to survive such blows.

To honourise the incident and the girl,

to dispense with the sweet n slow poison ,

He must break.

The stage is set.

The prize is life, and lives are at stake.

The heaven's once in making, are now hell kissed morgages.

He's not letting the reality set in.

for he's not in a state to sustain it.

Making yourself live in a myth, with truth all around

is an ardt.

Looking at the clouds, he sees himself smiling.

Can the rain wipe off his showers.
